Intergenerational Planning

We work with families to help them understand their philosophy to long-term wealth preservation. We then help them develop the strategies and practices to help each generation understand their role and responsibilities with regard to family wealth.

Ideally, we all want our wealth to inspire future generations to achieve great things for themselves. However, there's an underlying worry it can just lead to financial dependency and a loss of drive and initiative – often the two qualities that generated the wealth in the first place. We want to keep it in the family – but not at the cost of our beneficiaries living unhappy and unfulfilled lives – there are too many stories in the press to know that this can be a real problem.

The tools and strategies available in this area can be complex. We can apply our knowledge and experience to guide generations through the complicated choices together, encouraging financial responsibility and understanding.
